    "May the thoughts of Ireland brood upon a measured quietude" - WB Yeats (To Ireland in the Coming Times)


    Two events require mention, but they were both very far away! Been feeling "the tyranny of distance" - who said that? Can't remember...
    Anyway, they are:

    • My new nephew, Gareth and Caitriona's son, Jude Loughlin was christened last weekend
    • Mum's birthday was yesterday - her 60th!!!
    So I missed two celebrations...I feel the need for a trip home...watch this space...
