It is my last day in Sri Lanka, and I am taking an air conditioned break from the relentless chaos that is the Galle Road in Colombo. Today is the first day I have been on my own, and lots of amazing stuff is flying around in my head and my heart. This is a wonderful, frustrating, beautiful, historic, mythical and tragic country. Anyway, I will write more when the dust settles (literally) and when I have a few photos to show...for now, my thoughts lean a bit more towards home than in an absorbing, wonderful fortnight, but still feeling a little torn to leave...
