Cormac, Gill and I

 

just spent a week or so at this spot to celebrate the big event:



Which turned out to be two big events as Ireland clinched the Grand Slam. We watched in Furneaux Lodge at 6am decked out in our Irish jerseys with hangovers from the night after this happy day.



There were a few of the old Trinity Climbing Club there...



And of course the Wallis contingent were looking fab:



And to cap the Foster and Wallis union and the Grand Slam, Gill and Cormac and I went kayaking with some of these lads out in the Queen Charlotte Sound:



All in all a pretty damn good week! Thanks Glynn, Jayne and families!

Off to NZ for Glynno and Jayne's wedding tomorrow which should be fun! Then back here for a week before heading over to Ireland. Can't wait for Cormac to meet the Irish side of the family!
